Catalyst Talent Management Application for Representation Guidelines
Applicants for representation with CTM are accepted primarily through email at catalysttalentatlanta@gmail.com. Actors should include head-shot(s), resume, and -as available- video demo. Professional models should include a composite card a/o portfolio. Amateur models can present via snapshots a/o pictures (Up to ten images. If attaching, please use small file sizes). We review applicants on a weekly basis, and will respond within days if determined that we can effectively represent your interests. Interviews are by appointment only, and we do not hold open calls. If you do not hear from us regarding the status of your application, please feel free to follow up with a phone call, email, or reapply in a month or two.
We recommend performing thorough research and due diligence before hiring an agent to represent you, whether you are a professional or amateur. At minimum, we suggest you check out the following books and organizations. which will provide you with both information and a directory of services to guide you safely. It’s very important to know that a legitimate talent agency (like all employment agencies) earns income only from commissions on bookings (job assignments) they obtain for their clients (the performers- i.e. actors/models/ voice talent-the agency represents). Talent agencies do not charge any up-front monies or fees as a condition of representation. No registration fees, or consultation/ consulting fees. No classes, schools, workshops, or training. No photography. Nothing. Not a penny until you work and we get paid. Period. If you hear otherwise -about any agency- including ours, please invite that person to call our senior agent directly at 678 982 8271 anytime 24/7, and we will gladly speak to them via speakerphone to help you obtain the truth.
It’s relatively simple. If you need training, audit many different places, then decide where to enroll. If you need pictures, most agencies will happily provide a referral list of many professional industry photographers to select from. Under 5 Years Old
Please email snapshots or photographs. Also below is an FYI for all Parents and Guardians.
- The industry usually requests identical twins (or triplets) under 5 years old to better comply with child labor laws and to have a spare talent on set (just in case!).
- The industry does not usually require children under five to have professional training, head-shots, composites or demo reels as their appearance changes so much at that age.
- Legitimate talent agencies in major markets do not sell or provide pictures, classes, or require ‘registration/consulting/processing fees’, in advance as a prerequisite for representation.
